"The Con Became the Norm"
The modern day church has figured out a way to Con God into getting the maximum results with the least amount of work (At least they think they are!). Whenever you attain these results, they are usually of low quality and won’t last long. A friend once told me a story of an imitation Louis Vuitton suitcase that he purchased because he did not want to pay the full cost for a real one, but desired the satisfaction of a fake one that looked real. Lo and behold, he said that the suitcase lasted a couple of months before it fell apart and he realized his money was wasted. Whereas had he paid the full cost for a genuine Louis Vuitton suitcase, he would still have the suitcase in his possession today. What’s even funnier is the real one most times has insurance if it ever malfunctions.
What kind of measuring stick do you measure holiness with? What is your motive behind telling people they don’t have to work for the rewards of God (False Hope)? We have come to the conclusion that in order for a doctor to have a job, he has to have sick people and they always administer the medicine that won’t cure it totally but just enough to keep them alive and coming back. The church has become this; a business, where the prescribed word being preached from the pulpit is given the people just enough to keep the people alive, but they are still sick and will keep on coming (hmmm). I don’t think you will get in trouble for trying to be as holy as you possibly can, in a manner in which you can carry out God’s Love and His plan for your life. As opposed to trying to be as lawless as you possibly can be while trying to maintain a form of godliness.
2 Timothy 3
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Are we teaching people to be irresponsible by not challenging them to rise up to the level of holiness that God needs in order to really manifest in the earth? My challenge to all the “Millennium Isrealites,” is this; can you still tell people to not worry about trying to live righteous because no one is perfect with the vision of their blood being on your hands if you are wrong!
Ezekiel 33:6:
6But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
Are we trying to be liberal and make God liberal too when our lives are not our own? What was the initial way of life for a Christian? What has become the annex? So then, with these questions on the forefront we can identify that, whatever came in to bring the confusion is the root of the problem. Because we all know that the devil is the author of confusion (Right!).
1 Corinthians 14:33 (Whole Chapter)
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
What happened to the reverential fear for God?
Proverbs 1:7 (Whole Chapter)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction
Without this fear of God, the people of God act foolishly. Most modern day Christians have this mentality, “God give me the fire first and then I’ll throw in the wood.” It’s as if they don’t want to do the work of chopping the wood down or even preparing it to be burned. Everything is a microwave mentality. Even down to salvation, obedience and relationship with God. Everything has to be quick and easy.
This formula has been applied for too long, with minimal or no evidence of the power of God. The hunger for God’s power is still here and is not being satisfied; therefore the people are searching for the power in all the wrong places because the Church is powerless. Let’s step it up and do what it takes to get God’s dunimus power to manifest!
Always in Love,

I love how in Galations 6:7 paul writes "Do not be decieved or misled, God is not to be mocked, but whatever a man sows that also shall he reap." So many Christians have a misconception of what faith is, and for some reason or other find themselves waiting for the Mack Truck of blessings to pull up into their driveway because they've been told to simply put their faith in God and wait upon the Lord. The Bible says in proverbs that faith without works is dead. In Deuteronomy 8:18 it says that God has given us the "ability" to obtain wealth. Joshua 1:8 says that he who meditates the Word day and night, the Lord shall make his way prosperous and "then" he will have good success. Christians need to have a mindset that reflects proverbs 12:24, which states that "the hand of the diligent shall rule." Holiness as well, can be put in this category. Paul states clearly that the flesh is something that needs to be conquered...Christians become passive with this in the same way that they do with the diligent lifestyle described in proverbs.
